Two Hearts – FREE online live-streamed performance

Percussionists Dame Evelyn Glennie and Nao Masuda will join forces with a small ensemble of CBSO musicians to deliver a specially designed performance challenging the myths around deafness and music. Featuring Visual Vernacular (VV)* and creative captioning, pupils will be taken on a musical journey and meet Para-equestrian Laurentia Tan whose 2021 Paralympic Games dressage routine with her horse Sherlock, provided inspiration for the performance

This FREE performance will last for approximately 45 minutes and is suitable for ages 7+.

*Visual Vernacular is a unique physical theatre primarily performed by Deaf artists. The style combines strong movement, British Sign Language signs with gestures and facial expressions.
